In search of another technological future, I look toward a vision deeply bound to humans: reflecting our culture, moving through whimsy and fantasy, while making space for human struggles and becomings. By making and misusing software, my practice reclaims this sense of possibility: making technology personal as it once promised to be, before commercial interests and large-scale systems of control narrowed what it could mean. Questions of love and identity recur across my artworks as software, installation, and performance.

My practice often involves collaboration, through co-creation and participatory processes. Emerging from Saigon's DIY tech community, I founded CodeSurfing, a Vietnamese art-tech collective where I teach and collaborate on digital humanities research. I was a finalist for the Lumen Prize and have been both a fellow and mentor with the Processing Foundation. I hold a BS in Computer Science from Goldsmiths, University of London, and am currently an MFA candidate in Design Media Arts at UCLA, as a Fulbright student.
